Gifts from the year they were born

For a 60th birthday this year, the most personal present is something that was made in 1966. Vintage Wine Gifts sends single bottles of wine, port, whisky, and armagnac from a chosen year, in a silk-lined wooden box.

For a football fan, RJ Programmes in Kidderminster, one of the UK's largest dealers in football programmes, has matchday programmes going back decades. For a film lover, Original Poster in Droitwich sells original posters printed for a film's first release.

The pieces below are from milestone years for 2026: 1966 for a 60th, 1976 for a 50th, 1986 for a 40th, and so on, back to 1926 for a 100th.

Every piece is in stock at the time of loading and links straight to the shop. If you buy, the shop may pay us a small commission, at no cost to you. How we work
